Biker toy run

On sunday nov.21 was our local toy run for underprivileged kids in our area. the rally started lining up at around 1:00 pm and would start rolling at 2:00 pm, so at around 1:20 pm i went to start the bike(which hates the cold weather) and sure enough it wouldn't start, in fact the battery died on me so i had to go in the garage and dig out the battery charger and extension cord, run it out to the bike and hook it up to charge, so after a half hour i tried to start it and it sputtered and back fired then it started, ran for a couple seconds then stalled,i tried a couple more times and then it stayed running so with fifteen minutes before they started the run we set off, drove the 3 miles in record time and got there with 8 minutes to spare. we got in line and bought two rally buttons and then waited for the rally to start. We drove about 8 miles to the church that was receiving the toys and went inside with our toys, grabbed some hot cider and a couple of cookies and sat down to warm up a little. They handed out certificates to the different groups that participated in the run. There was a total of about 352 bikers in this years rally. all in all it was a great ride, the weather wasn't too cold and we had no accidents or problems with my bike once it warmed up. Can't wait to do it again next year.
